Program Descriptions
April 3 - "The Peace Within" Interactive lecture with Stanley George, Guest Speaker. Mr. George will present a program that highlights his activities in worldly affairs, such as politics and business that have led him into the spiritual domain of contemplation and philosophic introspection. Tonight, Mr. George will talk about how we can attain a state of Peace within ourselves, in spite of the turmoil that is going on in the world and in our every day lives. Q & A afterwards. Refreshments will be served.

​April 10 - "Val(v)entines Day and Beyond”- Interactive mini workshop with Cleous Young, Guest Speaker. Based on an article published on Valentines Day this year, Mr. Young, teacher, playwright and transformation coach will offer techniques and insights that will help you strengthen your heart and your ability to love such that you can overcome childhood wounds and trauma, breakthrough emotional blocks and make meaningful emotional connection. Q & A afterwards. Refreshments will be served.
​April 17 - "The Fabric of Time” - Lecture video presentation by Jean Galliano, Dir. Of Thinking Thursday
In honor of Easter, Jean Galliano will present The Fabric of Time, a video documentary which explores the age-old mystery of the Shroud of Turin. The documentary considers the question—”Did Christ leave us physical evidence of his resurrection (i.e. the Shroud of Turin) that only now, with quantum leaps forward in science, are we able to understand? Has science found a way to unlock the hidden information contained in this divine artifact such that a single fiber from the burial shroud of Jesus reveals evidence or his resurrection and spiritual mastery.” Joins us as we explore these questions and more!!.

April 24 - “Poetry for the Mind” Monthly Poetry and Spoken Word Program. Princess Ameenah will host this evening’s program and present to the public, local Germantown poet, Anthony Webb. Mr Webb, who originally hails from Cleveland, Ohio, is a Philadelphia school psychologist and instructor, as well as published poet and novelist. He will be reading from his poetry books “Once Upon a Word” and “I am Not a Poet. Open Mic night will begin in the second hour for the general community, including seasoned poets and newbies alike, to express themselves through the spoken word format. Come Join us this evening! Refreshments will be served.

Program Descriptions
May 1 - "Knights Templar: Guardians of the Grail Code"- Lecture/ Video presentation with Jean Galliano, Dir. of Thinking Thursday.
In this presentation this evening, we will explore the Grail mystery and how the Templars come to be the guardians of the grail. We will also explore the grail’s connection to pre-Columbian voyages linking Aztlan Tribes to Templar rituals, symbols, and cosmic beliefs. All of which may have its roots in prehistory during the times of Atlantis. Lecture, video and group discussion. Refreshments will be served.

May 8 - "A.I. and Consciousness " - Lecture with Todd Porter, Thinking Thursday Member. In this program, Mr. Porter will address the question “Can A.I. (artificial intelligence) ever be truly conscious or is it just clever programming?” He will further explore how consciousness works, whether machines could ever experience it, and why it matters—from ethics to the future of technology. No technical background needed, just curiosity! Lecture, video and group discussion to follow. Refreshments will be served.

May 15 - "Biology of the Baroque" with Eddy Kaady, Thinking Thursday member. In this presentation, Mr. Kaady will play a video documentary that explores the amazing patterns, order and beauty in biology that goes beyond what can be explained by Darwinian evolution. Lecture, video and group discussion to follow. Refreshments will be served.

May 22—N-1 Theatre Presents—”Peace in the Time of War” - 4 one act plays with playwright Dennis Moritz and actor Paul Pirozzi. Come join us this evening for an exciting opportunity to watch 4 plays come to life at their first dress rehearsal before a three day run at the Flying Horse Center 0n May 23,24, 25. Admission will be “Pay what you want”. Free refreshments will be available.

May 29- “Poetry for the Mind” Monthly Poetry and Spoken Word Program. Princess Ameenah will host this evening’s program which will feature a guest poet from the community. Anders Fetterman will be our featured poet for the evening. Open Mic night will begin in the second hour of the program, offering seasoned poets and newbies alike, the opportunity to express themselves through the spoken word format. Refreshments will be served. Come join us!
